Taking Care of Your Skin – Maintaining Your Post-Facial Glow

At Angel Touch Skin Boutique, skincare is one of our number one priorities for our customers. We want you to feel like your skin is smooth and heavenly 24/7!

As “skin whisperers”, we offer a number of facials that enhance hydration, glow, healing, relaxation and anti-ageing. No matter what, your skin needs to be supported to maintain the rejuvenating results of a facial. So it is critical that you know how to take care of your skin outside of the salon.

Here are some quick and easy ways to boost your glow!

Hydration to the max!

Moisturiser is a must to keep your skin hydrated and avoiding dry and flakey skin that can get your pores clogged. So make sure you’re using moisturiser everyday, and that it’s suited to your skin type!

You can take care of your skin from the inside out by drinking 2 litres of water everyday, hydrating your skin and flushing out toxins that might cause breakouts! As for other things you should be consuming, Omega-3s are your secret weapon, found in walnuts, avocados and salmon!

Shield from the sun!

Always wear a layer of sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun, which can damage skin and eventually cause wrinkles!

Skincare Regimes and Keeping Clean

Cleansing your face should be a twice-daily ritual, and exfoliating a few times a week, to continue getting rid of dead skin, dirt, oil and impurities. Be sure not to scrub your face when drying it, as it can irritate and inflame your skin!

Makeup and Touch

When your skin is looking flawless after a facial, there’s no need for makeup that could clog your pores! But if you do choose to wear makeup, use it sparingly and go for oil-free foundations or mineral makeup which is better for your skin. AND HANDS OFF – you don’t want to be depositing germs and bacteria from your hands to your fresh face!

Stress Less!

Stress and lack of sleep can throw off your body hormones and cause breakouts and tired, dry skin! Try taking some deep breathes and ask yourself if the stress is worth interrupting your glowing skin after a facial!
